    Hello sir! My name is faisal khan Sir I had my hair transplant done on 7th of July. today One month and 8 days have passed And in 10 days I was called for headwash. But due to the distance of 250 km What did I do at home? And in 21 days I was called for PRP. He said that your head is very dirty, clean it with water. Where did the staff wash my head I went to the mirror and looked at it. After cleaning the TB, 60% of the transplanted hair has disappeared from my face. And even after washing the hair, the hair is still there which is slightly bent from one side. What hair or grafts will affect the roots? Please answer sir?

    I am 16 and currently and my right eye's eyelid is droopy while my left eyes are fine. Even when i touch it my left eyelid feels more thick then my right. I have seen my old childhood photos and my eyes used to be fine and even but in the past 6 months i noticed this drooping in my eyes. What should i do? :( Also I wear glasses, can it be because of that?

      @AmiyaPrasadMD 2 дні тому

      Hi @porcelatte, Sorry to hear about your problem. If you are worried about a drooping right eyelid, the first thing you should do is have an eyelid ptosis exam by an oculofacial/ oculoplastic surgeon. Ptosis is not causes by glasses, but by either a weakened muscle that lifts the eyelid, or by a neurological cause. You can refer to these videos on how a ptosis exam is performed, and the different neurological causes of ptosis: ua-cam.com/video/7gWSjQce3DQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/cLiYHLLPb1g/v-deo.html

    Great knowledge!I appreciate Dr. Plz explain about EM time facelift which is a trend nowadays. .Does it cause facial fat loss?

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 4 дні тому

      Hi @kinzawaqas3552, Thank you. I don't perform this procedure, but like any procedure, results, and avoiding complications do depend on how it is performed by the individual doctor. I do believe that thermal treatments cannot fully replace surgical lifting, which not only lifts and trims the skin, but also tightens the foundational facial muscle, as well repositioning. People who are not yet old enough for a surgical facelift would be experiencing facial volume loss, which is not treated by a facelift alone, or by this procedure you're asking about. You can refer to these videos for more details: ua-cam.com/video/Z5lx39-c0sE/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/o5WRIwrVeVI/v-deo.html

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 3 дні тому

      You're welcome,@@kinzawaqas3552. Loss of facial volume can happen with overheating, or overexposure from thermal treatments such as lasers, radiofrequency, or high frequency ultrasound. Overheating, and overexposure are under the control of the doctor, or practitioner performing the treatment, so their expertise and judgment are key for a safe, and effective procedure, or if complications or undesirable results occur.

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 4 дні тому

      Hi @aykiz1508, Sorry to hear about your problem. Creams cannot possibly pass safely through thin eyelid skin, then through the muscle, and somehow only melt that orbital fat that causes eye bags. Dark circles are a separate issue that also requires professional treatment as they do have different causes. Can you do prf while having malar bags caused by oedema, or the oedema from prf procedure worsen malar bags?

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 5 днів тому

      Hi @KarolinaSo-xc4lq, It depends on the area that is being treated with PRF, and how the treatment is one. I have treated some cases of malar bags by improving skin quality with PRP, which alone doesn't have that much of a volume effect. PRF can have a temporary volume effect as it's a thicker material. I have also blended malar bags with hyaluronic acid filler so they don't look as prominent. While something similar is possible with PRF, or more volume from PRF can make malar bags look prominent, the volume effect of PRF only lasts about 3 weeks. I hope this clarifies things for you.

    Great video, Doctor. Thanks for the information. I'm 28 years old and only noticed I was beginning to lose my hair when I was around 25. Strangely the norwood scale does not fit my balding. I am a 4 on the scale from the front but the back and top of my hair is not thinning at all and has always been very thick. Have you seen this before? I am now taking oral Finasteride and topical Minoxidil to halt the balding and hopefully thicken up the frontal area. Thank you in advance for any reply :) Tom

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 6 днів тому

      Hi @Tommy3AM, Sorry to hear about your problem. Male pattern hair loss can initially concentrate at the crown, and hairline, with less noticeable thinning in the mid scalp. There can be different patterns of thinning in men, and it is possible that there less aggressive thinning happening in the mid scalp as well, which can be confirmed with a scalp microscopy. Finasteride is primarily for slowing hair thinning; and minoxidil is doesn't treat hair thinning at all, as it appears to delay natural hair shedding for the appearance of fullness. You can refer to these videos on how we've helped men who were already on finasteride get thicker hair, and why our TrichoStem Hair Regeneration patients don't need to use minoxidil after our treatment: ua-cam.com/video/4YowPNRsv6I/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/T5iPdCfZ2Ng/v-deo.html

      Hi @HimmyNeutron979, Sorry to hear about your problem. I hope you understand that I generally don't recommend treatment until I diagnose the cause. You are a little young for genetic male pattern hair loss, and are too young to be prescribed finasteride as the minimum age is 18. If you do have male pattern hair loss, a prescription for finasteride is important when you are at least 18 because of acute scalp DHT-sensitivity. You can refer to this videos on how we diagnose, and treat male pattern hair loss; and why finasteride is important especially for young men with early onset of genetic pattern hair loss: ua-cam.com/video/BmwyXS0D5tg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/fLSB-tE0gco/v-deo.html

    Can PRP increase the survival rate of implanted grafts?

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 6 днів тому

      Hi @Marcos-pc3xq, PRP can help with healing of grafts, thus improving survival. I first discovered what is now the TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment by using extracellular matrix by ACell (which I had used prior for healing surgical incisions), combined with PRP. However, it is important that the primary ingredient is extracellular matrix, with PRP as the activator. Is there a difference between acell and exosome therapy?

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD

      Hi @nazaninsz6710, While exosome treatment is relatively new, I've been using extracellular matrix by ACell in the TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment for well over a decade, so it's a more proven treatment. It is important to note that not all ACell treatments are the same as extracellular matrix is not an easy material to work with: too much causes inflammation, and hair shedding; and too little makes it just regular PRP. thanks for this!! I have been wondering the difference between the asian double eyelid vs the caucasian eye. to me, caucasian eyes are deeper set, for sure. perhaps they have a more prominent brow bown. I wonder if that's the reason why asian eyes have that 'puffy' look to their upper eyelid space If i prefer a stronger brow bone - is there such thing as a brow bone implant? i know an 'intra orbital rim' implant exist for the lower eye/cheekbone area. and i know of a 'forehead' implant. and there are heaps on brow bone reduction. But still i have not found anything that deals with creating a more prominant brow bone in women. Even FTM masculinisation procedures don't seem to touch on it. I see this video is kinda old. i might write in via email...

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 9 днів тому

      Hi @lisayuan, Caucasian eyes are not necessarily more deeply set than Asian eyes. As for a more defined or more projected brow, I would consider using hyaluronic acid filler at the bone level, which is minimally invasive, safe, effective, long lasting, and it doesn't require surgery. It is also reversible if results aren't exactly what you want by dissolving the filler. I hope this clarifies things for you

      @AmiyaPrasadMD 9 днів тому

      Hi @Rashweed, Hair transplant surgery can take a full day, and I do have many other patients. It's important to know that most people with hair loss have thinning hair, and not complete hair loss where hair follicles are dead and unrecoverable. Even if hair is thinning, it still grows closer together, and much more numerous than what is possible with even several hair transplant surgeries. If thinning hair is thickened, and hair growth stimulated from dormant hair follicles, you can get more scalp coverage, and greater density than are possible with hair transplants. You can refer to these more recent videos about it: ua-cam.com/video/maKL78Fz3js/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/hBeBbCXPHFA/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Zi6Bxog9_SE/v-deo.html

      Hi, Sorry to hear about your problem. As detailed in the video, an intermittent eyelid crease is most likely due to a weak connection between the eyelid skin, and the muscle that lifts the eyelid. This connection can be strengthened with surgery for a stable double eyelid. I generally recommend eyelid surgery at the minimum age of the early 20s when faces have stopped growing, and maturing. I hope this clarifies things for you.

    I’m stressing out 2 days post upper and lower bleph because my eyes are very tight and closed and my lower left lid is outwards. My surgeon in uk says it’s normal but I look horrendous and am really regretting it. I’m a model and fear I have made huge mistake. Can you advise please after watching your videos. I didn’t need much lower lift but he did it as little extra for me.

      Hi @lillybianco, Sorry to hear that. You are still very early in the recovery process, so some discomfort is normal at this time. However, I generally advise not having any lower eyelid skin removal as it is highly prone to complications, and can change the eye shape. I keep seeing patients who need such conditions revised, which is why I make videos like this. I would have to see you in consultation to give you specific advice, but for now I suggest you recover from your previous surgery, and see where results are after the post-surgical swelling, and tightness resolve. I hope this helps you.

      Hi @drfarooqhaiderqaisrani, Nodules are likely due to multiple injections. Since the volume effect of biomaterials like PRF do not last long, this may resolve on its own. I use PRP or PRF in my practice for skin quality improvement only, and when long lasting volume is needed, I can combine them with hyaluronic acid filler. I hope this clarifies things for you.

      Hi @wholesome_J, Over 99% of TrichoStem Hair Regeneration patients see a visible increase in hair thickness, and scalp coverage. For younger men with high DHT-sensitivity and an aggressive thinning pattern, it is important to take a DHT-blocker like finasteride for best results, and to sustain results longer. After over a decade of performing the treatment, very few people don't respond, and the majority of those who are unsatisfied with their results are younger men who refuse to take finasteride after the treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.

      Hi @brendacole4816, It’s important to remember that the laser itself does not cause complications like facial volume loss, nor does it determine successful results, but rather the experience and judgment of the doctor using the laser or other device. The device is just a tool, and it’s the doctor’s judgment using the tool that separates great results from ineffectiveness, or potential complications. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html

  • @ClassyChromosome
    @ClassyChromosome 12 днів тому

    Im very surprised by your recommendation. Hyaluronic acid filler actually never naturally dissolves. It migrates and also EXPANDS over time. You will have double the amount of filler you put in because hyaluronic acid retains water. Women develop swollen “pillow face” and strange lumps formations. It blocks the natural drainage of the lymphatic system. I was curious what you would recommend over fat grafting, but now I just don’t trust your recommendation at all. Never put filler in unless you plan on having it dissolved as well.

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 11 днів тому

      Hi @ClassyChromosome, The results of hyaluronic acid filler depend more on how the doctor administers them rather than the material itself. You say it yourself "double of the amount of filler", which is already a recipe for an overfilled look. I'm actually conservative will filler application at first, then see how the material settles after two weeks, then add more if needed. Filler does not block lymphatic drainage. "Pillow faces" are due to placing filler in the fat and soft tissue space, which isn't strong enough to hold a lot of filler material, so it migrates. You can refer to these videos about the the risks and expectations of under filler treatment; what causes a "pillow face", and how it can be avoided; and what causes migration of filler, and how it can be avoided: ua-cam.com/video/lA6ietCvZf8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Brb4uTzzG88/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/mqRstbLccO4/v-deo.html

      @AmiyaPrasadMD 13 днів тому

      Hi @DikshaKaushik-bd7sw, Facial asymmetry is natural and normal, and everyone has it, including actors and models. Natural facial asymmetry is most often caused by bone structure, since the two halves of the face are formed separately from each other. Differences in buccal fat from one side of the face compared to the other are also normal. Natural facial asymmetry is usually unnoticeable by others. I only advise treatment for facial volume changes due to aging, or if there is a genetic volume deficiency. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/DpTPMpi_t3s/v-deo.html

    I am an older woman, and I am seeing a lot of older women with lip filler. It looks horrible!! Of course, those could be the ones that weren't done well. I think some of the older women in this video look good, but I'm not sure about all of them. I think maybe when lips get really thin, that's when it just doesn't look right with filler. Of course, we I couldn't see their whole face. Some do look really good.

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD 13 днів тому

      Hi @samdung5630, The important aspects of lip filler treatment are looking natural; looking proportionate in both the lips, and in context with the whole face. It is safe to be conservative with the amount of filler used initially, as more can be added later on if initial results are undesirable. Remember that it is better for you and the doctor to be conservative at first, and add more later if needed, rather than to add too much at once, then have to dissolve it and start again. I hope this clarifies things for you.
